Sam (aka Big Dog) and Simon
The Thunderbirds FAB4
Sam won last years rally, and is defending his title with new co-driver and a little more power - in the 260Z for 2009

Paul Joza and Matt Scott
Danger Mouse and Penfold!
They've bought a Lotus! Apparently it came with two spare cylinder head gaskets, so that should be enough to get them to the end of the first day!.

John and Ed Berry
Batman and Robin!
John was last years event organiser, but this year is back behind the wheel of the ever present Scimitar.

Tim Holmes and Stu Bryan(AKA Mr Fixit)
Team GB!
another ever present is their superb Capri 3.0s. Stu is normally found under one of the other cars, keeping them running!

Phil and Onkar
Is it a bird? Is it a plane?
did last years event in the 260Z, but for this year Onkar (a BMW specialist) made Phil say goodbye to the yellow peril and now a BMW 635 Sport is being prepared!

Ben and Gerry Broad
'Ta Mere'
Ben and Gerry are making their debut in the rally this year driving a true british classic - an MGB

Ruth and Jeremy Martin
Dr Who and his glamorous assistants!
Did the 2008 rally in a Rover 2.2, bought at the last minute when they ran out of time getting the Alfa ready. Not sure what they will be driving yet, but their team name - 'Alfaifitsready' tells you it could go down to the wire again!

Graham Smith and RobbieThompson
The Mystery Machine, driven by Scooby Doo and Shaggy!
Graham is a friend of Onkar's, and got so fed up listening to tales of last years event he decided the best way to shut him up was beat him - a tasty looking BMW E28 323 now has pride of place in his garage!.

Andy Ledbury and Graham Kent
The Incredibles!
Andy is the other half of last years winning team, and for 2009 has a new co-driver in Graham. They will be driving the baby MG - a Midget.
